The Laboratory of Biomass Characterization, Analytical Resources, and Calibration was established in 1998 under the name of Laboratory of Analytical Resources and Calibration (LRAC). It was reinaugurated in 2013 due to its expansion in area and scope and is located in a 1,300m2 building divided into 3 floors.
The building comprises 13 laboratories (organized by areas of expertise), a meeting room, reception area, storage room, 5 utility rooms, a pilot plant, a high-voltage/electrical house, a control room, and a machine room. The facilities are designed to promote accessibility and ensure safe working conditions.
This laboratory is equipped with a diverse range of modern instruments, enabling chemical and physical analyses of various types of samples. Access to this instrumental park is available to the community of FEQ, UNICAMP, research and educational institutions, companies, and others.
